Spiral staircase between the ground floor entry lobby and mezzanine.
The project involved removing the old carpet from the stairs and replacing with new carpet, including erecting scaffolding to get access underneath the spiral staircase, works were completed out of normal working hours (on a weekend) to avoid any issues with the busy pedestrian traffic in the building.

The scope of works included removing the existing carpet and underlay. Installing new carpet tiles to the library – seminar rooms – store rooms – library administration and the tiered learning area. Included in the tiered learning area was the installation of curved aluminium trims at the junction of riser and seating area, including new stair nosing to the centre stair case.
Our responsibility was to remove and replace the furniture, lift work stations and bookcases all accordance with WH&S standards and clients instructions.

Remove old existing carpet, grinding entire concrete sub floor, remove old adhesives and then install new carpet tiles.
Floor grinding was completed out of hours to avoid noise disruption to office workers throughout other floors in the building.
Vinyl Planks – installed new vinyl floor planks throughout the staff breakout areas in herringbone design (200m2).

Included works of lifting all book cases and work stations were required in the library and all in accordance with WH&S requirements. Installation of highlight colour carpet tiles throughout the library for aesthetic purposes as per client brief.
